- Dionysios of Tell Mahre
- Jacobite patriarch of Antioch (qq.v.) from 818-845, alleged to be the author of a lost church chronicle (q.v.) that was used by later writers, including Michael I the Syrian and Gregory Abul-Faraj (qq.v.). That lost chronicle was mistakenly identified with an anonymous work of the late eighth century, the Chronicle of pseudo-Dionysios of Tell Mahre, which incorporates the chronicle attributed to Joshua the Stylite (q.v.), and makes use of other sources as well, including the Church History of John of Ephesus (q.v.).
